Granite Falls Woman Nabbed On Alexander County Drug Charges

A Granite Falls woman is facing felony drug charges after being arrested Thursday evening in Alexander County.

44-year old Patricia Dawn Abshire was taken into custody during a traffic stop on Highway 127. She has been charged by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office with felony possession of fentanyl, possession of ecstasy and possession of drug paraphernalia. Abshire is being held in the Alexander County Detention Center with a secured bond of $30,000. No court date has been listed.
