Granite Falls Woman Detained In Alexander County

Probation and Parole Officers in Alexander County arrested Abigail Hope Farmer, age 29 of Granite Falls, on Sunday. She’s charged with felony probation violation and remains in the Alexander County Jail with a secured bond set at $10,000.

Farmer is serving a 24 month suspended sentence following a 2023 conviction in Catawba County for felony possession schedule II controlled substance and felony possession of schedule I controlled substance.
