Granite Falls Teen Charged With Shooting Another Teen With Flare Gun

A teenager has been charged after allegedly shooting another teen in the mouth with a flare gun.

18-year old Timothy Dawson Sanders of Granite Falls was charged with assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury by the Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office last week. The victim was a 15-year old juvenile who is reported to be still listed in critical condition at a regional medical facility.

The incident took place on January 23rd in Hudson but wasn’t reported to law enforcement until January 26th. Sanders was taken into custody on Thursday, January 28th by Caldwell Deputies.

The teens were said to be acquaintances.
