27-year-old Anton Delrico Harris of Gastonia was arrested Tuesday by Catawba County Sheriff’s Officers. He’s charged with two counts of larceny of a motor vehicle, along with single counts of possession of a stolen motor vehicle, break or enter a motor vehicle, felony larceny, misdemeanor larceny, simple possession of schedule VI controlled substance, driving while license revoked, and fail to report accident. Harris is also charged on a bill of indictment with possession of a firearm by a felon.
Harris was jailed in the Catawba County Detention Facility under $70,000 bond. He’s scheduled to appear in Superior Court next Monday (October 31) on the charge listed on the indictment. No court date was listed for the other charges.
