Friendship Lutheran Church Donates $6,000 To Alexander County Schools

At the Alexander County Board of Education meeting on Tuesday, November 9th, Hannah Boston of Friendship Lutheran Church presented Alexander County Schools with a $6,000 check following a recent “Cruise-Thru Barbecue” event. Dr. Jennifer Hefner noted that this money will be divided between the 12 schools in the county and used for students. Dr. Hefner thanked the entire faith based community for supporting the school system.
