Former Taylorsville Resident Charged With Meth Trafficking

31-year old Samantha Marie Vono of Morganton (formerly of Taylorsville) was arrested Wednesday by the Catawba County Sheriff’s Office. She faces a long list of charges that include felony trafficking in methamphetamine, felony conspiring to traffic methamphetamine, felony possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, multiple probation violations and parole violation. She has been placed in the Catawba County Detention Center with a secured bond of $105,000. Vono has a series of court dates scheduled including today in Newton.
