An Alexander County mobile home was destroyed by fire Thursday afternoon. Multiple Fire Departments along with the NC Forestry Service responded to the blaze near McDuffie Court and Pennell Lane.
The fire spread into some grass and or brush but responders were able to keep the flames from reaching nearby Little River Baptist Church.
The Alexander County Fire Marshall’s Office is investigating.
