Felony Drug Charges Filed Against Taylorsville Woman

Brittany Shea Rector , age 38 of Taylorsville, was taken into custody Thursday evening by Alexander County Deputies and the Alexander County Office of Probation and parole. She’s charged with felony trafficking methamphetamine, felony maintaining a vehicle/dwelling/place for controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Over 50 grams of methamphetamine was seized.

Rector is detained in the Alexander County Detention Center with bond listed at $15,000.

A previous charge for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle is pending against Rector. That case is scheduled for court on Tuesday, July 15th.
