31-year old Tanner Parks McAlpin of Taylorsville was arrested Thursday by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office after deputies went to a residence on Sipe Road west of Taylorsville with a search warrant. McAlpin is charged with felony possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver methamphetamine, simple possession of schedule II controlled substance and possession of a weapon by a felon. He is being held in the Alexander County Detention Center with a secured bond of $100,000. A September 19th court date is scheduled in Alexander County Superior Court.
