Felony Alexander County Charge Pending Against Statesville Man

William Lee Power, age 30 of Statesville was placed in Alexander County Custody on Monday. Power was served warrants dating to 2023 for felony possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. He is being held in the Alexander County Detention Center under a secured bond of $50,000 with a March 4th court date scheduled in Taylorsville.

Power is also awaiting trial in Iredell County for possession of a firearm by a felon, felony possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. His Superior Court date in Statesville is set for April 29th.
