Federal funds for Alexander County Schools was released on Monday.
According to Andrea Robinette of the County Schools Finance staff, the Federal Title IV-B amount for Alexander is $120,000. This is funding for 21st Century Community Learning Centers.
In Alexander County Schools, this money is used for a Summer STEM camp (happening this week), credit recovery, and summer career acceleration for health science, skilled trades, and computer science.
