The FBI is offering a $15,000 reward for information about the June 1 shooting in Catawba County where one person was killed and 11 others were injured.
On June 1, the Catawba County Sheriff’s Office and the Hickory Police Department responded to a report of a shooting that injured multiple people at a residence on Walnut Acres Drive in Mountain View around 12:45 am.
Some of the injured were shot and others were injured while running from gunfire, the sheriff’s office said. Several of the shooting victims are still hospitalized.
The person who was killed was identified as 58-year-old Shawn Patrick Hood of Lenoir.
No arrests have been announced.
The FBI is offering the reward “for information leading to the identity, arrest and successful prosecution of the suspect(s),” the bureau said in a press release.
The FBI set up a website for people to submit tips on the shooting at tips.fbi.gov.
