A man was found shot to death Thursday evening in Statesville.
Around 6pm, Statesville Police responded to a report of a bony found near an abandoned residence on Fourth Street. Officers found the body of 21-year-old Naseem Wilkes behind the residence. Wilkes had suffered a fatal gunshot wound. The investigation is ongoing, no charges have been filed and Statesville Police have not commented on any possible suspect.
