A dump truck driver is dead after a crash this morning in Catawba County.
The North Carolina Highway Patrol says the truck crossed the center line on N.C. Hwy. 150 near Sherrills Ford and left the roadway. The truck went though a lawn, crossed Zeb Little Road and crashed into a wooded area.
The investigation is ongoing.
