There was a fatal head-on crash Sunday night in Catawba County.
North Carolina Highway Patrol Troopers say the driver of a pickup truck traveling on Bethel Church Road allegedly crossed the centerline and collided with another vehicle head-on.
The driver of the pickup truck died at the scene, according to highway patrol. The driver of the second vehicle was injured.
Bethel Church Road is located south of Hickory.
