The driver of a car was killed in a crash in the early morning hours on Saturday in North Wilkesboro.
The accident occurred on Cherry Street.
The driver who died at the scene and a passenger who sustained serious injuries have not been identified.
North Wilkesboro Police and the North Carolina Highway Patrol are investigating.
