A fatal crash was confirmed this morning on Interstate 40 in Iredell County.
The accident was reported around 7am near the Old Mountain Road exit near Troutman.
The Highway Patrol says the driver who was not wearing a seatbelt, was killed. The driver’s name has not yet been released.
