Amanda Nicole Childers, age 41 of Taylorsville, was arrested Thursday evening by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office. Childers was charged with felony possession of a controlled substance (not specified), misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and displaying a fictitious/expired tag. She is being held in Alexander County Detention Center with a secured bond of $10,000.
