A Hiddenite woman is facing drug charges after her arrest on Saturday. 41-year-old Evelyn Louise Herbert was charged by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office with felony possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. She is being held in the Alexander County Detention Center with bond set for $20,000. Herbert is scheduled to appear in district court in Taylorsville on Tuesday.
