The Alexander County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a break-in reported on Wednesday in Stony Point. Two suspects were reported to have entered a home in the Highway 90/Lentz Road area. It is likely the intruders were not aware the occupant of the residence, an elderly female, was home at the time of the intrusion. The female was not injured.
Deputies are searching for two individuals who were wearing ski-masks during the break-in. They possibly could have fled the area in a dark colored sedan.
