Couple From Bethlehem Facing Charges

A Bethlehem couple is facing charges following their arrest on Saturday,February 26,

Alexander County Sheriff’s Deputies charged 34-year old Herman Lewis Richard Jr with felony obtaining property by false pretense. He was placed in the Alexander County Detention Center with a secured bond of $7,500. He was scheduled to make an Alexander County District Court appearance on Monday.

33-year old Kyla Ann Scotto was charged with misdemeanor fraud-obtaining property by false pretense. She was placed in the Alexander County Detention Center with a bond of $1,500. She was scheduled for a court date on Monday.
