The Alexander County Board of Education is currently accepting letters of interest for a board member vacancy in District 4. The vacancy shall be filled by appointment of a person to serve until the next election of members of such board (November 2020), at which time the remaining unexpired term of the office (2020-2022) shall be filled by election.
Qualifications include:
* Must be a resident of District 4 (Sharpes, Millers, SugarLoaf & Gwaltney)
* Must be at least 21 years of age After verifying your address with the Alexander County Board of Elections
