Every Alexander County Fire Department participated in a tanker exercise on Saturday, March 9th. State Inspectors were present at the event. According to County Fire Marshall Russell Greene, some 27 trucks were on hand and more than 40 firefighters took part. Greene says the exercise is important as it helps to maintain lower insurance premiums for property owners.
