The Lady Cougars never trailed and built a commanding 26-5 lead after the 1st quarter. Gracie Harrington paced the scoring with 22, Nikki Hagy just missed another double-double with 13 points and 9 rebounds. AC improves to 7-1 overall and 5-1 in Northwestern Conference play.

Returning from COVID-19 protocol, the Cougars routed the visitors from Catawba County and soundly avenged their only loss of the season. The Cougars never trailed. Evan Presnell had 18 points to lead the scoring including 11-12 from the free-throw line. Avery Cook pitched in with 13 points. The Blue and Gold are now 5-1 overall and 4-1 in conference play.
The varsity men will play at South Caldwell on Saturday. The game will tip-off at 1:00 PM
