Taylorsville: Kensley Davis homered twice with 4 rbi for the Lady Cougars. Laney Mayberry was 2-2 with a pair of runs batted in. Ava Hamby went homered went 2-3 and sent 2 runners home in the rout. Kyla Hamby got the win in the circle as AC moves to 16-6 overall and 7-2 in Northwestern Conference action. Alexander Central will host Lake Norman on Wednesday.

Carter Bowman and Jared Zientek combined on a 2-hitter and the Cougars rolled at Bob Gryder Stadium. Gunnar Johnson and Maddix Reese both had 2 rbi. Kade Church and Graham Hoke had a pair of hits each as the Cougars go 9-0 in conference and 20-2 on the season. A trip to South Caldwell on Friday will conclude the regular season.
