The Lady Cougars hosted Bandys. The Cougars won the non-conference match in 4 sets with scores of 25-17, 15-25, 25-18 and 25-16.
The Cougar offense was led by Layna West who contributed 21 assists and Chesney Stikeleather who added 9 solid attacks for points and team high of 5 aces. Sarah Hollar added to a successful Cougar defense with 3 solid blocks. Ashlyn Merritt, Chesney Stikeleather and Riyan Wilkins all added 14 digs each for the defense. The win avenged an earlier loss to Bandys this season.
The JV and Varsity Volleyball teams will host Draughn High School on Thursday, September 16th.
