Cougar Men Fall To Central Cabarrus

Taylorsville: An up and down season came to and end Tuesday night for the Cougars.

Central Cabarrus used their depth with the bench out-scoring AC 27-0 ! All five starters scored in double figures for the Blue and Gold led by Noah VanBeurden’s 26. The Cougars performance at the free-throw line stung them at just 10 for 19.

The visiting Vikings also had 5 players in double figures led by Parker Watson’s 16. Central Cabarrus advances to Round II and Alexander Central’s season ends at 14-11.
