Taylorsville: The Lady Cougars turned a tie-game at the half into their 5th win of the season. The teams were knotted at 21 after the first two periods but Alexander Central ruled the final two quarters. The entire AC starting lineup scored in double figures led by Ava Head’s 18, going 6-16 from behind the three-point-line. Meredith Wike had 17 points and 11 rebounds. Faith Burch collected 13 rebounds and added 10 points. Malayah Adams scored 10 and Addie Jack 11. Ashlyn Black led the Lady Knights with 21 points. ACHS is 5-0 while North Lincoln drops to 1-3.

North Lincoln 104 Alexander Central 65
The visitors destroyed AC in the paint with 58 points compared to 18 for the Cougars. North out-rebounded AC 50-35. Noah VanBeurden led the Blue and Gold with 28. Nick Whitner had 29 points and 14 rebounds for the Knights who improve to 2-1. The Cougars lose their 2nd straight and are 2-2.
