Convicted Felon Arrested Today

Hickory Police arrested 26-year old Latif Thomas Banner of Lenoir Friday morning. Banner was charged with possession of a firearm by a felon. He was placed in the Catawba County Detention Center with a secured bond of $25,000.

Banner has a conviction for common law robbery, and 1st degree burglary dating back to 2014. He served three years of a six-year sentence in prison.
