Christa Lynn Draughn, age 34 of Conover, was given a 30-day jail sentence on Monday in Alexander County District Court. She was cited for contempt of court and ordered to serve the sentence in the Alexander County Detention Center. Draughn appeared on a charge of resisting arrest filed by Taylorsville Police in May. Her next court date on the resisting charge is set for July 29th.
