Conover Woman Facing List Of Charges

30-year-old Sarah Brooke Weedman of Conover was arrested Friday (March 6) by Conover Police Officers. She’s charged with identity theft in Catawba and Cleveland Counties. Additional Cleveland County charges include felony counts of breaking & entering, larceny and larceny after breaking & entering. Weedman is also charged with resisting a public officer in Catawba County and felony probation violation out of county in Mecklenburg County.

Weedman is on probation as a result of a conviction in Catawba County in October, 2024 for identity fraud or theft. Following Friday’s arrest, Weedman was jailed in the Catawba County Detention Facility under $170,000 bond. Court dates were scheduled for Monday (March 9) in Catawba County, March 23 in Mecklenburg County and March 30 in Cleveland County.
