Conover Police Charge Taylorsville Man After Two Alleged Assaults

An Alexander County man is facing charges in Catawba County. On Sunday, 21-year-old Tykese Jaaron Flowers of Boston RD., Taylorsville, was taken into custody by Conover Police following an incident at the Conover WalMart store. He’s charged with two counts of assault, disorderly conduct and resisting a public officer. Court documents indicate that Flowers assaulted two subjects including a store employee.

Flowers remains in the Catawba County Detention Center with a court appearance scheduled for today in Newton.
