
Quincy Harold Michael
A judge issued an order for arrest for 25-year-old Quincy Harold Michael. He was detained by authorities in Catawba County and is now being held in the Alexander County Detention Center.
As reported on March 1st, 2023, Michael was arrested after the North Carolina State Highway Patrol was contacted about a vehicle in the parking lot of Sulphur Springs Baptist Church on Patterson Road in Hiddenite. A male subject was slumped over the steering wheel in the driver’s seat of a red Ford F-150 truck. The Trooper contacted 911 communications of a possible overdose.
Alexander County Sheriff’s Office Deputies arrived on the scene and were able to awaken the subject.
Michael was charged with Driving While Impaired by NCSHP, Felony possession of Marijuana, Felony Possession of schedule I (Fentanyl), Possession with intent to manufacture, sell, and deliver a controlled substance, Maintain a vehicle, dwelling to use a controlled substance, Misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and misdemeanor carrying a concealed weapon.
Items seized by Deputies included around 400 grams of Marijuana, 1 gram of Fentanyl, one Glock pistol, drug paraphernalia, and $6,198.00 in cash.
