Johnny Mac Carson, age 48 of Conover, was detained on Wednesday by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office. The charges include felony possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting a public officer. As of earlier today, Carson remains in the Alexander County Detention Center with bond listed at $20,000. He scheduled for District Court on October 14th.
