Phillip Robert Bryant, age 35 of Conover, is scheduled to appear in Alexander County District Court today on a charge of felony larceny of a motor vehicle. He was jailed after being transferred from custody in Catawba County on Friday where he is charged with assault on a female, crime of domestic violence and injury to personal property. Previous charges of larceny and probation violation are pending in Caldwell County as well.
