The Catawba County Sheriff’s Office arrested Tad Aaron Navey, age 48 of Conover, on Wednesday. He’s charged with second-degree arson and felony probation violation. Navey remains in the Catawba County Jail with a secured bond set at $40,000. A court appearance is scheduled for today in Newton.
