Matthew Peter Courchesne, age 34 of Conover, was taken into custody on Tuesday by Taylorsville Police. He’s charged with felony possession of schedule I controlled substance and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. Courchesne is being held in the Alexander County Detention Center with bond set at $4,000. Monday, June 24th is listed a court date.
