Conover Man Arrested By Alexander County Authorities

David Christopher Karis Sr., age 57 of Rifle Range RD., Conover, was arrested Friday night by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office and Taylorsville Police. He is charged with the following

Reckless driving to endanger
Following too closely
Failure to heed blue light or siren
Possession of schedule IV control substance
Resisting arrest

Defendant is on pre-trial Release for assault with a deadly weapon, possession of alcoholic beverage, reckless driving to endanger, possession of schedule IV control substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Those charges were filed by Taylorsville Police in September.

Karis is being held without bond in the Alexander County Detention Center.
