Conover Daycare Employee Arrested

In Conover, a former daycare employee has been charged with assaulting more than a dozen children. Reports indicate that least some of the acts were captured on video and the victims are 4 and under.

Kaleigh Gambil was employed at the Woodlawn Baptist Church Development Center in Conover until allegations surfaced in December. She’s been released from jail under a secured bond of $80,000 and scheduled to make an initial court appearance today in Catawba County District Court.
