Conley currently works at Pressly, Thomas & Conley P.A. in Statesville and previously served as a District Court Judge for Judicial District 22 from 1990 to 1994.

Conley is a former District Court Judge of the Twenty-second Judicial District. She is a 1981 graduate of Duke University and a 1984 graduate of Wake Forest University School of Law. Ms. Conley is a former criminal prosecutor and served as a District Court Judge for four years and obtained certification for juvenile hearings while on the bench. She has been actively involved in the pilot program for the Judicial District which implemented court ordered mediation settlement conferences.
Ms. Conley is a practitioner member of the North Carolina Association of Professional Family Attorneys and the North Carolina Bar Association alternative dispute resolution and family law sections. A past chairman of the Board of Directors for the Piedmont Mediation Center, Ms. Conley was an active member of the Center from 1986 until 1995.She currently serves as President of the Iredell County Bar Association.
