24-year-old Katelyn Marie Omans of Claremont was arrested on Friday by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office. She is charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. Omans has been indicted by a Catawba County Grand Jury on 2025 charges of felony possession of methamphetamine. She also has a pending charge from 2025 for felony possession of schedule II controlled substance and larceny as the result of an arrest by Statesville Police. Omans is being held in the Alexander County Detention Center.
