27-year-old Aliyah Marie Allison of Claremont was arrested Wednesday by Catawba County Sheriff’s Deputies. The charges include felony trafficking opium or heroin and possession with intent to manufacture, sell, and deliver schedule I and schedule II controlled substance along with a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. Allison is being held in the Catawba County Detention Center with a secured bond of $500,000. A court appearance is set for today in Newton.
