Jeffery Allen Bortz, 42 of Claremont, was released from prison on Monday after serving 41 months for felony larceny of a motor vehicle and felony possession of schedule II controlled substance. He’s now in the Alexander County Jail on a previous charge of felony larceny of a motor vehicle. A July 14th court date is scheduled in Taylorsville.
