Claremont Man Jailed In Alexander County

Jonathan Lee Eckard, 34 of Claremont, is facing charges in Alexander County. He was placed in custody on Friday, September 6th for 2022 charges of larceny and injury to personal property. As of earlier today, Eckard remains in the Alexander County Detention Center with bond listed at $30,000. A September 16th court date is scheduled in Taylorsville.

Eckard is also facing a string of traffic-related offenses in Alexander County that include driving with license revoked and hit and run. Those charges are also scheduled for September 16th.
