Alexander County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 27-year old Juan Carlos Macias of Claremont on Saturday, October 9th and served him with an arrest warrant from Catawba County. The warrant was for felony larceny of a motor vehicle. Macias was placed in the Alexander County Detention Center with a secured bond of $30,000 and later transferred to custody in Catawba County. He was scheduled to appear in Catawba County District Court on Monday.
