Christopher Alan Lambert
Christopher Alan Lambert, 36, is charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury, according to the Hickory Police Department. Lambert was arrested on Monday morning. He’s being held without bond in the Catawba County Detention Center.
The victim has been identified as 54-year old David Alan Jennings who’s listed as homeless. Jennings was airlifted to a regional medical facility. No update on his condition has been made available.
Lambert was also treated.
As reported earlier an altercation was reported at a location off 15th Avenue Place SE, directly behind the McDonald’s restaurant located on Highway 70 SE.
A published report says a machete was used in the altercation.
