Child Abuse Charges Filed Against Taylorsville Couple

A Taylorsville couple was taken into custody on Friday, August 27th by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office and charged with misdemeanor child abuse

30-year old Joshua Allen Jones and 20-year old Heaven Michelle Cole were both charged with misdemeanor child abuse. The charges involve allegedly leaving a child unattended. Both were placed in the Alexander County Detention Center with secured bond of $10,000 each. Court appearances are scheduled for September 20th in Alexander County District Court.
