A Charlotte man was taken into custody on Friday December 20th by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office. De’Ante Laron Brown, age 24, was charged with driving with license revoked. He is on pre-trial release on charges from Catawba County, for felony possession of a stolen motor vehicle, felony possession of schedule II controlled substance, second-degree trespass, resisting arrest and assault on a law enforcement officer. Brown remains in the Alexander County Jail.
