Charges Filed This Morning Lands Taylorsville Woman In Jail

Betty Anjelique Brooks, age 31 of Taylorsville was taken into custody Monday morning by Hickory Police. Brooks was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana paraphernalia, probation violation out of county, and resisting a public officer. Brooks is being held in the Catawba County Detention Center under a secured bond of $8,000. She has a scheduled court date for the probation violation charge on June 22nd.
