Catawba County Schools have suspended a bus driver after the driver has been alleged to have committed an assault.
The Catawba County Sheriff’s Office is involved in the investigation involving a driver assigned to a Claremont Elementary School. The driver has been suspended with pay pending the result of an investigation.
No charges have been filed and the name of the suspended driver has not been released.
